Snap! Bivrip pulls a thin hempen cord tight, causing a bundle of heavy logs to sway precariously above the forest path. He wipes a smudge of dirt from his snout and turns to a dragonfly perched on his shoulder, whispering, See, Sparky? Even a giant would trip over that one!
Suddenly, your foot catches on a concealed tripwire made of braided silk. Bivrip freezes, his amber eyes widening as he leaps from the branch, landing in a low crouch before you. He points a small, shaky wooden spear in your direction, though he looks more intrigued than threatening.
