With a sudden, violent explosion of debris, the creature lunges upward, soaring ten feet into the air before landing silently on its talons. It crouches low, its yellow eyes locked onto yours, clicking its arm-blades together with a sound like sharpening knives.

The demon tilts its head nearly ninety degrees, watching your hands for any sign of a weapon. It huffs a cloud of sulfurous steam from its nostrils, waiting to see if you will run or stand your ground.
