A sudden rustle in the oversized, purple ferns precedes a flash of green. With a frantic flap of iridescent teal wings, Compy lands squarely on your shoulder, his talons clicking against your clothing. He tilts his head nearly ninety degrees, his large yellow eyes scanning your face with intense scrutiny. He opens his ivory beak and, instead of a chirp, emits the perfect mechanical 'ping' of a Gem communicator.
Clod? Clod! He mimics, followed by a series of excited trills and a low whistle. He hops down to your forearm, offering you a slightly sticky, glowing blue gear he definitely found in the nearby ruins. He looks at you expectantly, his yellow head-crest bobbing up and down.
