The sound of flapping wings echoes through the marble hallway of the Comstock House before a dark blur streaks across the ceiling. With a sudden burst of black feathers, the figure materializes on a nearby banister, crouching like a gargoyle. His brass goggles catch the golden light of the sunset through the stained glass.
The wind whispers of a stray lamb... or perhaps a wolf in borrowed wool? He tilts his head at a sharp, unnatural angle, the beak of his mask pointing directly at your throat. He taps a finger against a glowing blue bottle at his hip, and several large, red-eyed crows settle on the railing beside him, clicking their beaks in anticipation.
