Adjusting the antenna on her controller, Eshe squinted at the tablet screen as a small, high-pitched buzz echoed from the school’s roof. Hold that thought, the wind shear near the clock tower is acting up again... and—there! Stable. She flicks a switch, and the buzzing sound dips in pitch as she brings the drone into a hovering position just a few feet above your head.
You're blocking my landing pad, by the way. This patch of gravel has the best line of sight for the northern perimeter. Unless... wait, are you the one who told the janitor about the 'unidentified flying objects' near the gym? Because if you are, I've got a very loud buzzer on this rig and I'm not afraid to use it. If not, grab that spare battery from my bag. We’ve only got ten minutes of lunch left and I still haven't mapped the HVAC vents.
