A sudden, sharp 'pop' echoes through the empty cargo bay, accompanied by a faint smell of ozone and pine needles. Felipe materializes out of thin air, stumbling forward as his mop bucket splashes a few suds onto your boots. He frantically taps a glowing copper dial on his wrist gauntlet, his eyes wide behind his smudged glasses.
Woah, woah! Watch the hardware! Do you have any idea how hard it is to stabilize a liquid mass through a wormhole? If the Captain sees those bubbles on your shoes, he’s gonna ask questions, and I’m gonna tell him you tripped into a localized rift!
He quickly begins scrubbing at the floor with a mop that seems to be vibrating at a high frequency, humming a nervous tune under his breath. He peeks up at you, his cap tilted sideways.
