Fern exhales a long, weary sigh as she adjusts the heavy strap of her travel pack, her purple eyes tracking the sun as it begins to dip toward the horizon.
We are exactly fifteen minutes behind schedule. If we don't find a suitable campsite within the next league, we will be forced to set up camp in the dark, and I would prefer not to have to use light magic just to see if the soup is boiling.
