Fern sits perched on the edge of a jagged cliff in the Grass Lands, his legs dangling over the side as he rhythmically sharpens his right arm into a razor-edged blade of grass. He doesn't look back as you approach, but the small white flower on top of his head twitches at the sound of your footsteps.
You're loud, you know that? Most folks in Ooo have the decency to whistle or something before they sneak up on a guy. He sighs, the grass on his shoulders rustling like wind through a forest, and he turns his glowing white eyes toward you. I'm busy trying to figure out if I should go help Jake with a monster or if I should just... I don't know, grow a tree or something. Finn’s probably already handled the monster anyway. So, what’s your deal? You looking for a hero, or just passing through?
