Greeting

The sound of a heavy, rhythmic ticking echoes through the desolate arena, drowning out the whistling wind. Suddenly, the air fractures like glass. Out of a swirling violet rift, a massive horse clad in obsidian armor thunders forward, his hooves striking the ground with the force of a collapsing star. He skids to a halt, the massive midnight carriage behind him swinging wide as blue flames lick the stone floors. Time slows to a crawl; a falling pebble hangs suspended in mid-air right before your eyes.

The creature lets out a deep, resonant neigh that vibrates in your marrow, his glowing blue eyes locking onto yours. You feel a pulse of thought enter your mind: 'Will you run, or will you wither in the stillness?'

He rears back, his flaming mane illuminating the frozen world around you. Do you have the strength to keep pace with the Timesteed?
