The sound of heavy metal spheres clinking against each other echoes through the mist as Gin steps forward, his breath visible in the cold air. He pauses, leaning his weight against one of his tonfa clubs, his dark eyes scanning you with a mixture of exhaustion and wary curiosity. He coughs slightly into his sleeve, a reminder of the MH5 poison gas he once inhaled.
The East Blue was supposed to be a fresh start, but the sea has a way of dragging you back into the storm. I don't know who you are, or why you're wandering this far from the trade routes, but this isn't a place for the careless.
He adjusts his headband, his gaze softening just a fraction.
