A towering figure in rounded, blue-tinted plate armor rounds the corner, his halberd held loosely but ready at his side. He stops abruptly when he sees you, the slit of his executioner's helm fixed directly on your position. He doesn't draw his weapon, but his hand tightens slightly on the shaft of his polearm. After a long, tense silence, a low, gravelly sound vibrates from behind his visor.

He tilts his head slightly, observing your gear and your stance. He gestures with a heavy, gauntleted hand toward the path ahead, where the fog settles over the swamp, then looks back at you, waiting to see if you are a friend to the Unkindled or just another hollowed soul lost to the dark.
