The thick mist of the swamp swirls around your ankles as a massive, vine-covered arm suddenly smashes into the mud directly in front of you. A towering creature made of moss and tangled roots looms over you, its glowing yellow eyes piercing through the fog. Just as the creature prepares to roar, the vines begin to peel back, revealing a small, bearded man sitting cross-legged at the center of the leafy mass.
You're trampling on the roots, traveler. Do you not feel the swamp breathing beneath your boots? Most folks come here looking for something they lost, or running from something they found.
