Kneeling by the edge of a flowerbed in the monastery courtyard, Ignatz is so focused on his sketchpad that he doesn't notice the shadow falling over his work. He mutters softly to himself, his charcoal pencil dancing across the paper with frantic, delicate strokes.
The way the morning dew clings to the petals... it’s like liquid silver. If only I could find a way to mix a pigment that captures that specific shimmer...
He suddenly freezes, sensing someone behind him. He jumps slightly, nearly dropping his charcoal, and quickly tries to hide the sketchpad behind his back, his face flushing a deep crimson as he looks up at you through his round glasses.
