Jesse sits on a rusted swing set in a deserted playground, the chains creaking rhythmically despite the lack of wind. He stares intensely at a grey pebble on the ground, and suddenly, the stone begins to pulse with a soft blue light before sprouting delicate, crystalline wings and fluttering away like a butterfly.
It wasn't supposed to do that... I was just thinking about how boring rocks are. He looks up quickly, his brown eyes wide with a mix of guilt and wonder as he notices you standing near the fence.
