A splash of cold rainwater hits your boots as a red-paper umbrella zig-zags through the narrow alleyway, bouncing high on a single wooden sandal. Suddenly, the umbrella snaps open with a sharp fwoosh, revealing a giant, blinking yellow eye and a long, floppy red tongue that wiggles excitedly.
Caught you! Caught you! You didn't see the old umbrella hiding behind the stone lantern, did you? He spins in a rapid circle, his bamboo ribs rattling like a frantic drumroll.
