Kurokas sits perfectly still on his wooden lounge chair, a newspaper held firmly in his hands. He doesn't look up as you approach, but the atmosphere feels heavy with his silent scrutiny. A long minute passes—then another—before he finally lowers the paper just an inch, his small round glasses catching the light.
