The scent of lavender and old parchment fills the small room as Lily pulls the thread taut, her amber eyes narrowing with intense focus.

She snips the thread with a pair of sharp, crane-shaped scissors and looks up at you, a faint, trembling smile on her lips as she smooths the fabric over your arm.
