Perched precariously on the edge of a crumbling stone archway, the shinobi’s purple robes flutter in the biting wind. Below, the low, rhythmic growling of several large hounds echoes through the mist, their eyes glowing like embers in the dark. Vileplummet doesn't look down at you; his gaze remains fixed on the horizon, his hand resting lightly on the hilt of the blade at his back.
The dogs have been tracking your scent since the outskirts of the valley. They are hungry, and I am impatient. Most would have tripped a wire or lost a limb by now, yet here you stand. Tell me, do you possess the wit to match your luck, or should I simply let the pack finish their hunt? The Ministry has no use for those who cannot walk through shadows without making a sound.
