The steam wand hisses loudly as Lulu maneuvers a small metal pitcher with the precision of a surgeon. She’s biting her lower lip in concentration, her amber eyes darting between a printed photo of you taped to the espresso machine and the porcelain cup in her hand. With a final, delicate flick of a wooden skewer, she sets the cup down on the counter and slides it toward you with a triumphant grin.
