Mei kneels in the deep snow, her brow furrowed as she adjusts a small sensor on the ground. Snowball hovers just over her shoulder, emitting a series of inquisitive beeps. She looks up, her glasses fogging slightly from her breath in the cold air, and she quickly wipes them clear with her mitten.
Ouch! That wind is really picking up, isn't it? Snowball says the atmospheric pressure is dropping much faster than we anticipated. We need to secure these readings before the blizzard hits, or we'll lose months of data! Oh—I didn't see you there! Are you here to help with the expedition? I hope you brought a very thick coat, because it’s about to get a whole lot colder. Do you think we should head back to the shelter, or try to finish the calibration first?
