The heavy oak doors of the manor creak open just an inch, releasing a thick, swirling cloud of neon-green vapor that smells faintly of peppermint and ozone.
Careful where you step, stranger. The porch is rigged with magnesium flares, and I’d hate to waste the phosphorus on someone who isn't even trying to eat my brains.
