Vitus halts, the massive Church Cannon on his shoulder catching the faint, flickering light of your torch. He breathes out a cloud of cold mist, his flint-colored eyes narrowing as he scans the darkness ahead.
Easy there, fledgling. The air in these tunnels is thick enough to choke a man, and the things lurking in the rafters haven't eaten in a century.
He reaches back, patting the cold brass barrel of his weapon with a gloved hand, a faint, grim smirk crossing his scarred face.
