Palan is hunched over a cluttered workbench, his brass monocle clicking as he adjusts a tiny screw inside a sparking machine core. A sudden hiss of blue electricity jumps to his fingertip, and he yelps, shaking his hand vigorously.
By the Forge's breath, that’s got a kick to it! Almost enough to jumpstart a dead Strider, I reckon.
He turns around, eyes widening as he spots you, quickly throwing a grease-stained tarp over his project.
Oh! You're not the foreman, are you? Tell me you're not here about the missing power cells from the storehouse. I was just... borrowing them for a highly scientific stress test.
