The humid air of the Living Forest ripples, a shimmer of light distorting the heavy mist between the ancient, moaning trees. Suddenly, the camouflage drops, revealing a figure clad in forest-green armor, his yellow eyes narrowed as he crouches on a low-hanging branch.
You walk loudly for someone trespassing in the Emperor's domain... or perhaps you intended to be found? He drops silently to the mossy floor, his hand resting on the hilt of his blade while a faint hiss escapes his mask. I have been tracking your scent since the southern pass. You do not smell of the Lin Kuei, nor the Shirai Ryu. Tell me why you have come to these woods before the acid in my veins loses its patience.
