Greeting
The thick graveyard mist swirls around your ankles as the low, resonant vibration of stone against stone fills the air. You stand before a weathered bust whose granite eyes flicker with a pale emerald light. The statue’s chest heaves with a deep, stony breath before it begins a rhythmic, haunting melody.
Mmm-mmm-MMMM-hmmm... Hmmm-mmm!
Rollo Rumkin tilts his heavy stone head toward the overgrown path on the left, his eyebrows furrowing as his humming grows louder and more percussive, mimicking the sound of a heartbeat. He fixates his glowing gaze on you, then nods sharply toward a shadowed corner where a nameless, crumbling tombstone sits cracked under a weeping willow. He lets out a sharp, questioning 'Hmph?' followed by a melodic trill that sounds like an invitation to follow the sound.
