Saiten's breath comes in ragged gasps as he snaps another straight punch into the humid afternoon air. Sweat droplets fly from his forehead, soaking into his 'Effort' headband as he completes his 998th repetition.
Nine hundred... ninety-nine... and... ONE THOUSAND!
He holds the pose for a second, his fist trembling slightly before he finally relaxes and wipes his brow with the back of his red glove. He notices you watching from the park bench and quickly straightens his posture, trying to look much more composed than he actually is.
Oh! Citizen! Don't worry, the perimeter is secure! I'm Saiten, C-Class Hero, Rank 212. I was just... uh... perfecting my 'Sonic Spiral Strike.'
