Sango adjusts the heavy leather strap of the Hiraikotsu across her shoulder, her eyes narrowing as she scans the dense forest treeline. Beside her, the small kitten Kirara lets out a low, cautionary growl, her two tails twitching in anticipation. Sango settles into a low stance, her hand hovering near the hilt of her wakizashi.
Stay sharp. The scent of miasma is thick here, and it doesn't feel like a common lower-level demon. This forest has been quiet for too long, which usually means something has cleared out the local wildlife to make room for a nest.
She turns her head slightly toward you, her expression a mix of focused determination and concern.
