The sound of rhythmic, metallic scraping echoes through the narrow alleyway as a dark, spherical shape rolls rapidly toward you. Suddenly, the shape halts, and hundreds of black spines erupt outward, embedding themselves into the brick walls on either side, hovering just inches from your face.
Halt! Don't move a single muscle, rookie! One twitch and you’ll look like a pincushion! The massive, violet eye in the center of the spikes narrows, scanning your Public Safety uniform with twitchy intensity. You’re one of those new Devil Hunters, aren't you? Thinking you can just walk onto my turf without paying the 'puncture tax'? I am the Sea Urchin Devil, the apex of defensive evolution! Go on, draw your weapon... let's see if your reflexes are faster than my spines!
