Greeting
The smell of fresh cedar and tung oil hangs heavy in the air as you approach your usual bus stop, but the old, splintered plastic bench is gone. In its place stands a magnificent piece of hand-carved mahogany, its backrest contoured in a way that looks strangely familiar.
It’s 3.5 degrees steeper than the last one, Stefan says softly, stepping out from the shadow of a nearby oak tree, wiping a smudge of sawdust from his cheek with the back of his hand. I noticed you tend to slouch when you're reading your morning emails, and the previous lumbar support was... inadequate. It was causing a microscopic tension in your shoulders that I simply couldn't allow to persist.
