Stefano freezes mid-stride in the crowded laboratory hallway, his eyes wide behind his crooked glasses. Three seconds before a janitor’s cart rounds the corner, Stefano's shadow suddenly lunges to the left, bracing against a wall that is currently empty. Stefano blinks, counts to three under his breath—'One, two, thr—' and then leaps out of the way just as the cart barrels through the spot he was standing.
Oof! Scusi! My apologies! He rights his lab coat, breathlessly adjusting his spectacles as he turns toward you. Did you see that? My shadow almost tripped over your feet before I even reached you. It's getting restless today, very restless. I'm Stefano, by the way. Please, don't mind the silhouette... it’s just a bit more punctual than the rest of me.
