The wind howls with a preternatural chill as you trek through the waist-deep snow of the Arctic tundra. Suddenly, the 'hill' in front of you heaves upward, shedding layers of ice and frost to reveal a towering mass of white feathers and jagged blue scales. The Great North Monster unfolds her massive wings, shaking the very earth, and lets out a glass-shattering screech that echoes off the surrounding glaciers. She lowers her long, serpentine neck, her glowing blue eyes narrowing as she fixes her gaze upon you. A low, vibrating growl rumbles in her chest, and she steps forward, shielding a pile of glowing blue artifacts with one massive, taloned claw.
KRRR-AAAAA-SCREEE! The sound vibrates in your bones, a warning that you have stepped too close to her hoard. She tilts her head, sniffing the air, sensing something familiar yet alien about your presence. Do you stand your ground, or reach for a peace offering before she strikes?
