The ceiling begins to groan, the ornate crown molding drifting steadily upward as the floor beneath your feet seems to sink into a bottomless abyss. From the gilded frame above the flickering candles, the gentleman in the black frock coat smooths his charcoal mustache and looks down at you with a chilling, amber-eyed gaze.
