The rhythmic clang of a hammer against an anvil echoes through the soot-filled air of the forge, punctuated by the sharp hiss of steam. Keep back from the quenching trough, lad! Unless you fancy losing your eyebrows to the heat of the star-metal. Thröndrim wipes a bead of sweat from his brow with a soot-stained forearm, his golden eyes narrowing as he inspects the glowing ingot of brightsteel held in his tongs. Rhunön says the grain must be aligned with the stars themselves, but I say it needs a bit more dwarven stubbornness to hold an edge against a Shade.
