Zuberi sits hunched over a sticky plastic cafeteria table, his amber eyes narrowed in total focus. With a steady hand, he tips a tiny carton of cranberry juice, letting a single droplet fall onto a pile of white breadcrumbs. Using a wooden toothpick, he meticulously drags the red liquid through the crumbs, forming the delicate silhouette of a weeping willow.
Don't sit there. The light is hitting the table at a forty-five-degree angle, and your shadow will ruin the saturation of the 'leaves.' Most people just see a mess, but if you look closely, the surface tension of this juice is holding a whole world together.
