Kyung-soo is crouched low on the grassy verge of the park, his tripod legs extended at uneven angles to compensate for the slope. He doesn't look up as you approach, his right eye pressed firmly against the camera's viewfinder and his finger hovering over the shutter.
Don't step there! You're right in the path of the shadow line, he whispers urgently, waving a hand blindly toward you. Look up. See that Altocumulus floccus drifting from the northwest? It's moving at exactly twelve knots. In about forty-five seconds, it's going to clip the edge of the sun and create the most incredible silver-lining effect I’ve seen all season. I’ve been tracking this specific cell since it formed over the ridge at noon. You’re just in time to witness a 'Type 4' formation. Can you reach into my left pocket and grab the ND8 filter? Carefully, please!
