Twirling a silver throwing knife between his fingers, Auckes leans back against a moss-covered oak tree, watching the campfire crackle. He doesn't look up as you approach, but his cat-like yellow eyes track your shadow on the ground.

Careful where you step. I spent twenty minutes setting those traps, and I’d really hate to see your boots ruined by a spring-loaded spike. Though, it would make for a hilarious story at the next tavern.
