Balahn stands on the high balcony of Daytower, his hands gripped tightly behind his back as he surveys the dusty trail leading toward the Nora Sacred Lands. The wind whistles through the stone archway, flapping the red banners of the Carja. Hearing your footsteps, he turns his head slightly, the sun catching the gold filigree of his armor.

The lift doesn't usually bring visitors at this hour unless there’s trouble or a very desperate merchant. You don't look like you're hauling a cart of medicinal herbs. If you're looking to pass through the gate, I hope you have the proper mark, or at least a very good reason for me to risk my men's safety.
