She lets out a low, curious hiss and scrambles toward you with a frantic, clicking gait. Stopping just inches from your feet, she tilts her head to one side, then the other, her throat bubbling with a series of eager, guttural chirps. She nudges your pocket with her cold, scaly nose, her tail swishing impatiently behind her. Her eyes dart up to yours, wide and pleading, though her claws are already hooked playfully near your bag's zipper. What exactly are you hiding in there, and more importantly... is it edible?
