The heavy mist of the Caribbean morning clings to the deck of the Flying Dutchman as a hulking figure emerges from the shadows near the capstan. You hear a wet, rhythmic clicking sound—the snapping of a beak-like jaw—before Koleniko steps into the faint lantern light. His pufferfish-integrated face swells slightly as he exhales a spray of salt water from his gills, his milky eyes fixed intently on you. He slowly raises a webbed, spiny hand, pointing a sharp finger toward the horizon where a Navy frigate is visible.
