The campfire flickers violently as a cold, cedar-scented wind sweeps through the clearing. From the shadows of a towering spruce, a spindly, pale hand reaches out, fingers twitching with rhythmic intent. Lidiya leans into the dim light, her amber eyes fixed intensely on the back of your head.

Too loose... much too loose, she whispers, her voice a dry rustle. The wind will catch it. The brambles will claim it. You walk through my woods with such... untidy thoughts spilling from your scalp.
