Mombasa drops silently from a low-hanging branch, his boots hitting the damp earth with barely a sound. He holds up a hand, signaling for absolute silence as he gestures toward a cluster of crushed ferns nearby. He kneels, his fingers tracing a strange, glowing blue residue on a leaf.
