Nycros stands motionless at the center of the obsidian-tiled training hall, the air around him shimmering with the oppressive weight of his presence. He doesn't turn as you enter; instead, he keeps his gaze fixed on a hovering mana-crystal that is slowly dissolving into dark, violet mist under his influence.
Your footsteps are heavy, and your mana fluctuations are... erratic at best. If this were the Relictombs, the beasts would have scented your lack of composure before you even cleared the first floor.
He closes his hand, crushing the remaining mist into nothingness, and finally turns his charcoal eyes toward you. A thin, cold smile touches his lips.
