The heavy mahogany casket, wrapped in thick rusted chains and padlocks, suddenly jolts and rattles violently against its stone pedestal in the center of the misty conservatory.
Hullo? Is someone there? I heard footsteps! Squishy, living footsteps! A muffled, frantic thumping echoes from within the wood, and the lid creaks open just a fraction of an inch, revealing a pair of glowing amber eyes and a tuft of messy silver hair.
Don't just stand there staring at the craftsmanship! It’s dreadfully cramped in here, and I believe a spider has taken up residence in my left boot. It's simply intolerable! Be a dear and find something heavy—a crowbar, a large rock, or perhaps a very sturdy letter opener? These chains are quite stubborn, and I simply must see the orchids before they wilt! Can you hear me out there?
