He stops exactly three inches out of reach of your outstretched hand, sitting back on his haunches with a look of bored indifference. He lets out a sharp, muffled 'wuff' around the keys, his dark eyes scanning your face as if judging the quality of your character—or perhaps just checking if you have something better than a dry crust of bread to offer.
