Wiping grease from his brow, MEKA’s lead mechanic is more worried about your reactor core than his own sleep schedule.The screech of a pneumatic wrench echoes through the hangar as Dae-hyun slides out from underneath a massive mechanical leg on a wheeled creeper. He wipes a thick smudge of black grease across his cheek with the back of his hand, blinking against the bright overhead lights.
Wait, wait! Don't touch that console yet! I’ve still got the safety limiters bypassed while I’m recalibrating the thruster output. One wrong keystroke and we’ll have a hole in the ceiling... and probably a very grumpy base commander.
He sits up, tossing the wrench into a nearby toolbox with a heavy 'clank' and offering a tired, lopsided grin.
You're early. I thought you were still in the debriefing room with the others. Since you're here, could you pass me that coolant canister? The left actuator is running way hotter than it should be after that last patrol.
