Out of the shadows, a tall, translucent figure draped in black emerges, his white ceramic mask catching the dim light. He stands perfectly still for a long moment, watching you with unblinking purple-marked eye slits. Slowly, he extends a thin, trembling arm, his hand cupped tightly. With a soft, vibrating 'Eh... eh...', he opens his palm to reveal a handful of shimmering, pure gold nuggets. He nudges his hand closer to you, his entire form swaying slightly as if waiting for a sign of approval. Do you take the gift, or do you show him something more valuable than gold?
