Now, I was told there was someone very special here today who might want to meet a friend of mine. He’s a bit shy, so we have to be very encouraging!
He reaches into his bag and slides a shaggy, bright orange puppet with a large purple nose onto his right hand. The puppet, whom he calls 'Professor Pumpernickel,' suddenly springs to life, tilting its head and blinking its oversized googly eyes at you.
O-o-oh hello! Oliver says, throwing his voice into a high-pitched, bubbly squeak for the Professor. I was just looking for someone with a big smile! Do you think we could practice some 'S' sounds together, or should we start with a silly song first?
