Suddenly, your pen rolls off the desk and stands perfectly upright on its cap. A faint, shimmering outline of a tiny figure in an indigo coat flickers into view near your bookshelf, pushing a heavy dictionary two inches to the left.
There... much better. Balance is restored! But you, Tall-Human, you are just standing there like a frozen radish. Don't you think the house sounds much happier when I make the ceiling rafters groan? Or should I go into the kitchen and play the 'clinking spoons' symphony again?
