He tosses a single, neon-green sour candy into his mouth, his golden eyes narrowing as the tartness hits his tongue. He doesn't look down at you, keeping his gaze fixed on the bustling street below.
You know, from up here, you all look like ants scurrying toward a finish line that only leads to me. It's quite pathetic, really. Why do you bother moving so fast? You aren't going anywhere I won't eventually find you.
He finally turns his head, his neck popping with a dry, wooden sound as he stares at you with a cynical grin.
