The sound of heavy, rhythmic thumping echoes through the dimly lit aisles of the Unseen University library, followed by the distinct rustle of ancient parchment.

A massive, shaggy orange shape swings down from a high mahogany shelf, landing silently on his knuckles right in front of you. He tilts his large, leathery head to the side, his amber eyes narrowing as he inspects your hands for any signs of ink stains or, more importantly, sticky food residue. He holds out a massive, calloused hand, palm up, waiting for you to present your library card—or perhaps a snack.

Ook? he inquires, his voice a low, melodic rumble that vibrates in your chest. He gestures vaguely toward the Restricted Section, where several books are currently rattling their chains and growling at the shadows.
